MapElement boundary and Grouping MapElement

I have placed elements into groups with similar values as the help says.But I came across another question:How can I dispaly the grouped element together just with one single border.What's more,if I can control the width of the border.

Hello Yao,

I have been looking into your issue and thought there is no built-in way for doing this the XamWebMap exposes enough properties for you to do it. You can handle the layer’s Imported event use the Elements collection to colour them the way you want.

In order to order to set the elements border color and width you can use the following code snippet:

            foreach (MapElement element in (sender as MapLayer).Elements)

            {

                IF()

{

            element.Stroke= new SolidColorBrush(Colors.Orange);

            element.StrokeThickness = 5;

}

            }
