Hi,

I have a v7.2 webgrid which binds with a hierarchical dataset. However, i have defined the 2 datatables at design-time itself using 'quick-design'. I wish to merge cells at band-'1' of my webgrid. In order to do this, I open the Webgrid Designer, then i select 'Control Settings' --> Bands --> Band[1] --> Columns Collection --> Select my Merge Column --> Set MergeCells property equal to True.

However, the strange thing is that the MergeCells property dropdown is not accepting any other value than False. Even if i open the dropdown and select True, it goes back to False.

I also tried doing it programmatically in the Initialize layout event, but its not working then too.

Please help me out. I first started using webgrid in 2005, worked on volume 4.3. Now i have more projects coming up and wish to reccomend Infragistics to my clients. For this i need to get some prototypes working. Please help me out.
