Firefox support and UltraWebGrid 10.1
posted

Hi,

We have a 9.2 project that we were having trouble with Firefox and the UltraWebGrid, specifically multi-cell copy/paste (including whole rows and columns). After chatting with Magued Fahim, he told me that 9.2 doesn't support 3.6 FF, and to upgrade to 10.1.

After upgrading to 10.1 and installing the latest service packs, multi-cell copy/pasting still isn't working in the current version of FF.

Is this a known issue? If so, any ideas on when/if it will be resolved?

I understand there are some challenges with this type of functionality in FF, however I have seen it successfully resolved on web apps (such as in Google Docs).

Thank you

There is also an issue with row deletion in Firefox. When you delete a row (using a row selector and pressing the delete key), the row is removed, but the "frame" for non-header rows of the grid seems to get pushed down an arbitrary amount.

Firefox_PreDelete.gif is the first load, and Firefox_PostDelete.gif show how it appears after deleting the top row.

The same behavior exists when you delete a row from the middle of the grid as well.

Is this a known issue, and is there a time line for resolution?

    Thanks
