Client Side Documentation

I can't find the client side object model documentation. For example, I want to write some javascript that handles the client side selection changed event.

I want to know what I can do with the selected object.

args.getNewSelectedNodes()[0]

I cannot find any documentation for that type of object is, or what I can do with it. It must be somewhere so I guess I'm not looking in the right place.
