Access databound ValueList in client-side code

Can i access a databound ValueList (Bound on Page_Load)from Client_side events(beforeEnterEditMode) and assign it to a column of a grid?

    Hi RK,

    Not exactly sure what you are trying to accomplish.  If you can provide a little more info, I'm sure someone can help you out.

    If you are looking to display a dropdown list of values, when a cell in the grid is in edit mode, then that is very easy and straight forward.

    When you view the properties of a column, down by the DATA category, you can set the Value List properties to a data source on the page.  The cell (in edit) mode, would then display a dropdown list.
