UltraWebGrid does not display on load - will display after user selects anything on the page

Greetings,

Can anyone offer an answer as to why the UltraWebGrid (seen below) doesn't display on load?  The data is being loaded as it should but the grid will not display the data until the user selects something/anything on the page - then the grid will expand out as seen in the lower picture.

    Since this question was first posted, I have removed all previous versions and reinstalled the latest Web version:

    Infragistics35.WebUI.Misc.v8.3, Version=8.3.20083.2093

    ... as evidenced below with Add/Remove programs:
