Hi,
I'm using the infragistics controls in my project especially UltraweGrid and Webcombo. The application works fine with IE and Mozilla browsers.But when I use the apllication in Safari browser, (For any click/event) I'm getting this this fuzzy error as follows.
Do the Infragistic controls have compatibility over the browser?

Hi Murtaza,
Thanks for ur response. So on looking this,
1) Can u just send me the differences/comparision between Ultrawebgrid and webdatagrid(Aikido Framework) in detail.... <<< please number the differences or tabulate if possible... >>>
2) I just want to know how webdatagrid overcomes Ultrawebgrid and
3) Are there any shortcomings of webdatagrid over UWG(if any) ??
Thanking u ,

I apologize for the inconvenience. If you can post this issue with your sample to our developer support, we can take a closer look at this issue.
I would also like to know what other controls you are working with that you don't see in our Aikido framework controls. Please feel free to email me if you have any other issues or concerns regarding the product at : murtazaa@infragistics.com
Thanks,
Taz.
Thanks for ur immediate reply.
I couldnot find any information about the supported environment in the page given by you: https://es.infragistics.com/support/supported-environments
with the full list of the controls and the browsers they're supported in...
1) So the non-aikido controls (UWG , Ultraweb combo etc etc) are not compatible in Safari for sure as you stated... I also need the other browsers in which these controls are not compatible...
<<As this being the web application, I need those controls to be compatible with main browsers like IE, FF , Safari and Opera>>
So what could be the solution for my problem ???
2)
Do I've to migrate to the Aikido Framework moving from
->from UWG to WebDataGrid... and
->from WebCombo to WebDropDown...
Could this be the only solution.........??
3)
I'm using few other Infragistics Controls also in my application **which would not come under the Aikido framework**
As the application is developed almost... I cant fully transform the application now(i.e switching to the Aikido controls for browser Compatibility)
So Can any Solution be available such that let me be using the current controls itself and to make those compatible with Safari without raising any Exception??
1. You mention that you are having trouble only in Safari, whereas the same work fine in IE & FF, so it appears to be a Safari specific issue to me. While the control *may* work in Safari depending on what you are doing, but we have not tested against the Safari browser and thus cannot support in that environemnt. If you think that it is not a Safari issue, please submit an issue with our support department and we can look further into your issue.
2. All the controls that are part of our Aikido Framework are cross browser supported including IE, FF, Safari, Opera. To get the list of controls built on this framework, check out the CTP page, in the middle you will find all the controls that you see in the toolbox today built on this framework. In first week of April, we are releasing new controls based on this framework, which will be also be cross browser compatible.

Also, here is the supported environments page for all of our plafforms:

3. Yes, WebDataGrid & WebDropDown are going to be supported in all major browsers.
Hope this helps.
