Vertical Webmenu - problem with subitems

Hi,

I'm using ultrawebmenu in vertical mode.

When the page is too high, if you scroll down, subitems don't appear at the right place.

As you can see : in the top of the page subitems appear at the right place:

If in scroll a little, subitems don't appear at the right place:

I didn't find any post about that, and Infragistics samples have the same problem...

Hi,

Sorry about the delay, but that issue should have been resolved in 2008.3 as it was fixed prior to the release (marked fixed in July), however since it's not working for you could you try applying the latest hotfix for 2008.3? It's possible that you are experiencing a similar but separate issue. If this is the case I'll be happy to investigate the problem to try to determine the cause.

Oh, as far as being able to search for bugs, you can use the knowledge base search to lookup incidents and bug reports, here's a link to this one:

Finally, yes, you can in most cases take the script file from another release and use it in place of your own. In this case that should not be necessary since the js files should be identical between the 7.2 and 8.3 versions, but yes, it's possible.

Edit: I was just informed that the Hotfix for 8.3 has not been released yet, but the fix will be in the 8.3 Hotfix.

As far, as I understood (thx, Google Translate) this issue was fixed for 2007.2 and 2007.1.
Infragistics:

Why there is no such page in English (or where is it) ?
When will this issue be addressed for other versions of NET Advantage?
Is it possible to use scripts from those releases? Hotfix is a remarkable idea, but it's taking a lot of time.

I see that this issue is still here - in Infragistics 8.3 (CLR 3.5). Is fix still unapproved? Any workarounds as dairygold asks about?

well how about this...

Is there way that i can pass the sub menu some kind of x-offset / y-offset?

I am looking at the CSOM and I do not see anything that i can pass or to take control of the sub-menu element before the screen render happens.

Hey Harold,
No there isn't a hotfix available yet unfortunately, once the fix is approved by QA it will be rolled into the next available hotfix.
