We use IGUltraGrid20.ocx component in our VB 6.0 ActiveX project. When we try to drag and drop the component on to our form, it give below error:
License information for this component not found. You do not have an appropriate license to use this functionality in the design environment.
Please let me know if you need any more information on this.

i also have the same problem
i havebeen using Data Widgets on this computer since 2014 and all of a sudden 3 days ago it started to give me the license error
now i cant even create executables
this is a software i have been developing for the last 18 years there is a lot of work in this'
ther must be a solution
i already uninstalled an reinstalled data widgets

I've moved this thread to the UltraSuite forum.
This error message simply states that it can't find any information to confirm whether you're using a licensed or trial version of the component, and if it's a trial version whether or not the trial is still valid. Make sure that you have the toolset (likely UltraSuite) installed on your development machine. You may need to uninstall the toolset and reinstall it.
This forum is really for the DotNet WinGrid controls. I don't think the ActiveX controls are supported any more and I'm pretty sure there is no forum for them.
If you are getting a licensing error, though, it means the machine you are developing on does not have a license installed. How did you get the component on that machine? Did you run the original installer? Do you have a CD-Key for UltraGrid 2?
