webchart in facelets

Hi,

I found the following limitation for webchart (http://help.infragistics.com/Help/NetAdvantage/JSF/2008.2/HTML/JSF_Known_Issues_and_Breaking_Changes_Known_Issues_and_Breaking_Changes_in_2008_Volume_1.html):

"An exception occurs when running the WebChart component within the facelets environment..."

 

Please I have these questions:

- Is this valid also for 2008 Volume 2 version?

- Does it mean that I can't use any webchart type?

- Is there any workaround how to circumvent it?

    Hi,

    It is also valid for 2008.2. You can use the WebChart in your pages, the problem occurs within the facelets environment. We are currently looking for a solution for that problem and it will be published as soon as possible.
