Has anyone ever tried exporting the webgrid contents to Excel and had it hang up or stall?
We use the export to Excel feature on our web pages and have never had any problems with this, but one of our clients is experiencing the export operation stalling out.
Any help on this would be helpful.
Sounds like the ASPNET_WP is recyling during the export process. This could be due to a crash or a low memory situation. If they reproduce this consistantly, try to get the data that they're using. It may be a specific configuration that's causing a crash, or the amount of data that's causing the low memory problem. Either way, it sounds like you may want to follow up with our Developer Support team with details. Especially if this is a crash scenario.
