WebGrid Extremely slow in designer

Hey Guys,

 Using VS2005 with Infragistics WebGrid(2007), and anything i try to do in the designer seems to takes ages to apply...as in 2-5 minutes, i was wondering if there are any known bugs?

    I've worked with that configuration on a not-so-powerful computer, and it always seemed a bit slow whenever the designer rendered/re-rendered.  But two minutes is worse than anything I've seen.

    How does your designer do when you're working on a relatively complex page with no WebGrid on it?

    Hello Ben,

    This is certainly something that we have not seen reported so far. 2-5 minutes for updating the design time HTML is surely a problem. Is there anything specific in your project that may cause that, like a lot of pages, the ASPX page containing the grid being of very big size. Also is this a problem only for WebGrid or for other controls out there (e.g. other Infragistics control, other built-in controls like GridView, etc)? Also, can you check out if there is a process very heavy on CPU or Memory usage in your system? (other than VS.NET that is?)

    Any additional information you can share will certainly provide additional clues.
