Hierarchical Grid Updating Child Rows - Editors not behaving correctly

I've discovered an issue which seems to be in all verions of the Hierarchical Grid/Updating.

When you are editing a child row, the editors don't allow you to select all the text. In the top most row the editors work fine.

Expand Beverages, edit Chai, try to select all - you can't!

Is there a work-around for this?

I'm using IE9.

    This has been determined to be a development issue. We have logged it in our internal system with number 168449.
