jQuery 1.9.1 supported?
posted

I am using igniteUI release 2012-2-2113 and am about to update jQuery on my application to 1.9.1

I understand that jQuery 1.9.1 does not include the .live() event binder.  I noticed that infragistics.js from the CDN does include .live().  (e.g. Infragistics.Web.ClientUI Scroll 12.2.20122.2113)

My questions

  1. Is infragistics.js 2113 compatible with jQuery 1.9.1
  2. What is the recommended version of jQuery?

Thanks

    Hello Rob,

Thank you for contacting Infragistics developer support. We are working on compatibility with the newest script versions, but it takes time when they are released to make our products compatible. I would advise you to use version 1.8 instead of the latest one. IF you want to use the latest one and you are finding some issues please report them. I will log the misbehaviors in our system so our engineering department will resolve them via service releases. You can always download our samples browser locally for free and see what is the version of the js files in it and use the same.

Looking forward to hearing  from you.
