Which browsers and versions are supported by the JQuery and MVC controls?

Hi,

Which browsers and their versions are supported by JQuery and MVC controls. My concern is regarding

Internet Explorer (supported or not and which is the minimum version??)
Firefox
Safari
Chrome

Support for older browsers (IE7) and mobile device browsers for our current volume release (2012.1) relies on the Modernizr JavaScript library so so long as you include a reference to it, you should have not trouble.
