Hello everyone,

Started a new job recently, API uses callbacks. I assumed it was legacy reasons, but it's not! Current co-worker say

I think both promises and async await are bad abstractions, and harder to reason about.

I haven't come across many (any) people that have this opinion, but a current co-worker says this. Are there many like this? Are you? I'm interested in your opinion if so.
