I tried reproducing your issue using version 14.2.20142.2611, which is the latest service release available for Ignite UI 14.2. I created an igGrid, enabled Updating feature and deleted a row. The rowDeleting event was fired only once.

I am attaching the small sample that I used to test this for your reference. Please run it and let me know what is the behavior on your side. If this is not an accurate demonstration of what you are trying to achieve please feel free to modify it and send it back to me along with steps to reproduce.

Additionally, if you are not using the latest service release my recommendation is to download it using the following steps:

1) Go to www.Infragistics.com and log with your account.

2) In the top right corner you will Hi, [your name]. Click on your name. This will open the "My keys & downloads page".

3) Select your product from the product list.

4) Select "Service Releases" tab.

There you will find the latest service release available for download.
