Is odata going to die soon?

I'm trying to determine the best technology to use to implement iggrid remote paging.  Should I leverage Odata or there is another technology I should leverage?  I don't want to use something that the iggrid might not support in a couple of years.

I need to implement paging, sorting, and filtering.

What are my options?

    Hello Michael,

    Currently grid controls support oData V2 and we're planning to support the next available versions of oData, however I'm not able to give a good estimation when this will be done. Please follow our What's New documentation topic for more information. About remote features setup, you can use grid MVC wrapper which handles them out of the box.
