I am working on igGrid (infragistic grid) group by with edit row. I have multiple rows in a group.
When i am trying to edit the second row in a group, first row cell values are by default filling into second row.
I am trying to update cell values manually in editRowStarted event but its not working.
Unable to post code here as it is very much big with many iggrid events.

You have to make sure the values for your primaryKey column are unique for each record. The Updating feature relies on that.
Most probably primaryKey values for your first and second row in the group are the same and you should change them or pick a column with unique values for your primaryKey.
