Each time I try to install Infragistics 15.1 it fails. I have tried both the Platform Installer and the complete bundle "Infragistics_Ultimate_20151_WithSamplesAndHelp"
I am only installing the Winforms and WPF features with their samples. I get 4 errors, 1 for WPF, 1 for Winforms, 1 for WPF Samples, 1 for Winforms Samples.
It links me to 4 error files, that don't really give me any clue what is going on.
I have rebooted the computer, the installation folder is in the Download folder.
The information in the 4 error log files is very similar. This is for the Winforms one:

I don't understand why, but it seems like it is running the instalation from the C:\ProgramData\Infragistics\15.1\ folder.
I am running the installation as Administrator to discard any access rights issues. But I also added my user to the C:\ProgramData\Infragistics\15.1\ folder granting FullControl to it. I don't know what else to do.
What could be causing the installation to fail?
Hi Anastas, thanks for following this up.
I granted Full Control to the folder, but also verified that the 4 msi have inherited the access right.
My user has the same access rights in the folder where I am installing the Examples to.
Attached you can find the Log Files for the Infragistics_20151_Platform installation.
I also attached a screenshot of my access rights to the C:\ProgramData\Infragistics\15.1\Setups\Infragistics_WPF_20151_Samples.msi and a screenshot of the options I selected for installation.
Thanks!
Hi again,
I was able to create a similar environment, but cannot reproduce the behaviour you are describing.
Can you please share what are the exact permissions of the msi files(no matter of the ProgramData folder permissions - not sure if the msi files inherits the permissions from the root folder).
And can you please send us all the log files - those from msi(s), sample(s) and from the PlatformInstall(all these are placed in the LogFiles folder). Please zip log files in a single zip file and attach it.
Thank you for your collaboration.
Hi Anastas, sorry, I forgot to mention I am working with Windows 7.
I have Symantec antivirus, but my coworkers have installed Infragistics without issues and they have the same antivirus.
Also, the following files are on that folder:
I have tried deleting the folder and started the install again, yet it didn't work.
I am administrator of my computer. But also granted Full Control to that folder to my user.
Hello Dzyann,
Thank you for contacting Infragistics.
Could you please give us more information about the following:
