Slowness issue when updating NetAdvantage from version 2006 to version 2011.2

Hi guys,

I've been working with NetAdvantage 2006 for some time and today i updated it to version 2011 and started to experience some slowness when working with visual studio 2010.

Some exemples: Load a project, a form designer, create a new object, and some other stuff.

This slowness was not felt before upgrading.

Anyone else having the same issue ?

    Hi,

    Could you give us more information about the exact NetAdvantage products you have installed (upgraded) ? Also the OS version ?

    In general there is nothing into NA product that can cause a slowness in "create a new object". The only product that is installing project template is NA Reporting and this in theory could cause such slowness to "Load a project" although we've never heard of such. "Form Designer" - if you use NA controls into the current form/control that you are designing you may experience any slowness caused by loading them into the designer.

    The only problem we've met until now is a MS issue that the toolbox loading becomes slow when Microsoft Silverlight 5 (RIA Services 1.0 SP2) is installed on the system and duplicates toolbox items.

    We are appreciating any help to reproduce your issue. This could help us optimize VS performance.
