ASP.NET Legacy Control Vs ASP.NET Control

Hi All,

This is Chidambaram,

Please Advice

1. What is the Difference Between NetAdvandage ASP.NET Legacy Control  and NetAdvandage  ASP.NET Control.?

2. Do you have provide any Entry Level Training for ASP.NET Control and Winform Control.?

    Hello Chidambaram,

    1. NetAdvantage ASP.NET Legacy Controls are older controls that have been removed from the product in 11.2.  For each Legacy control that was removed, there is a newer version in the NetAdvantage ASP.NET control set.  For more information on the differences and the changes, please see this blog post.

    2. Yes, there is training available.  We offer both public and private training, as well as online training.  For more information, please refer to the Training page of our website.  The information seems to be out of date, so you can also contact us and ask about the latest offerings.  The "entry level" courses are "Developing Applications with NetAdvantage for Windows Forms Controls" and "Developing Applications with NetAdvantage for ASP.NET Controls".

    Hi,

    I went to http://store.infragistics.com/default.aspx?Category=Training%20OnDemand&ProductId=51849T and click on the "Details" of both "Developing Applications with NetAdvantage for Windows Forms" & "Developing Applications with NetAdvantage ASP.NET Controls".

    Both details mentioned "Intermediate and Advanced concepts" and not "Entry Level".

    Let me know if I am looking at the wrong place.
