I just started to use the MS Test manager 2010 and I´m totally fascinated from the Theme/Skin of this App.
so I´m wondering if there will a skin like this (don´t know the name of it) for WinForms from Infragistics.
Is there anything intended like this ?
Thanks
AppStylist for WinForms allows a huge amount of customization of the way that your application is styled. You should check out the Application Styling Framework docs here: http://help.infragistics.com/NetAdvantage/WinForms/Current/CLR2.0/?page=Win_Application_Styling_Framework_ASF.html
Is there a specific component of the skin that you liked? If you upload a screenshot, I can help you to get something similar with AppStylist.
I think there will be also a Problem with the Toolbar, because the Test manager hase some other type of Toolbar.
But here's a screenshot:
Thanks for providing that screenshot. I'll work with AppStylist to see whether something like this look can be achieved. Please let me know if you have any further questions for me.
You can use AppStylist to get your application looking like that screenshot, with the exception of the toolbar on the top, but that's an issue of functionality rather than the look and feel of the application.
In order to get a tab bar like the one in that screenshot, you can use a Creation Filter to add some buttons or a toolbar into the TabHeaderArea.
Please take a look at the documentation on Creation Filters.http://help.infragistics.com/NetAdvantage/WinForms/2011.1/CLR2.0/?page=Win_Creation_Filter.html
