Using VS2010 Ultimate and the Infragistics 2010 controls, when I drag an Infragistics control to the design surface, nothing happens. If I try and drag the control to the markup code, again, nothing happens. No messages, no errors. The cursor changes to a valid target for the drop, but nothing happens when dropped.
Has anyone else had this happen?
Hi floodg,
It has been some time since your post, however in case you still need assistance I would be glad to help.
In this scenario I would suggest that you test whether you can successfully add a control and reference an assembly manually as this would shed some light on the origin of the matter.
Please feel free to contact me if you need more information.

in your words... "It has been some time since your last reply to this post.. but i still feel like bugging you.."
I'm having same issue and now i'm pretty pissed.
we are using your controls since infragistics 6 and we always upgrade to your new version and doing so now we have reached to NetAdvantage 11.2 with CLR4x.
in most of the upgrades i face this issue. i've got many projects in a single solution and for few project, when i add new winform and add ultra contol it gets reder fine and for some projects it just doesn't work.
here is this proof: http://tinypic.com/r/212csxi/6
what is an issue here? why it has to be so painful for every upgrade?
Please reply before i die.
Hello tusharpatel,
Thank you for contacting Infragistics Community.
I have been looking into this forum post, and in this case the Visual Studio designer is not able to resolve correctly the Infragistics win Forms design assemblies. Could you please clear the Infragistics content from the licenses.licx file, clean and rebuild your application?
What else you could do in such cases would be verifying if all of the assemblies in the project are having their specific Version set to False.
If you have any other questions with this matter please feel free to let us know.
