2) Is there a build only license?
3) We also used a build machine for official build; do I need a full license here to?

For question 1: Anyone who wants to build an application that includes NetAdvantage for .NET controls needs to have a licensed version of the toolset installed, and each such developer must have their own license. We recommend the build server approach for developers who aren't working on the UI who need to build such a project.
This blog post should likely address questions 2 and 3 in detail. To summarize, any licensed developer can set up a build server, which doesn't require its own license so long as no development work is done on that build server (other than building, of course).
The link above goes to some strange blog disussion. I need to know how to set up our build server to compile and deploy our debug and release versions of our software. Please instruct on this process.

Michael
Michael,
The link in the previous post (which had worked when I'd first posted) seems to no longer contain the correct URL. I've updated the link with the correct URL.
Is that link up to date? It states: "take a few minutes to install using the product installer. There is an option in the installer to install just the assemblies and licensing components. I'd recommend deselecting all of the options if you don't need them installed on the build server. Be sure to also apply any hot fixes that your application may use as well."
The installer requires a license key and I do not see the options to install assemblies only. It looks more like a microsoft office install treee.
Please advise.

Hi,
Sorry to hijack an old prerequisites thread, but I have a related issue. We have a build server, but don't want to have to install any prerequisites. TFS should be able to 'Get Latest' and the solutions will build. So far we have achieved this with the exception of a product which uses Infragistics. Is there a way around installing the product? Maybe a registry script that can insert the license?
