SharePoint Saturday Bulgaria 2013–Event Recap

On June 22 was held the first in Bulgaria Conference SharePoint Saturday. SharePoint Saturday Bulgaria 2013 is the largest SharePoint event in Bulgaria (and in South Eastern Europe) with more than 100 participants.

Event Organization:

SharePoint Saturday Bulgaria event was driven from the Event Steering Committee and SharePoint Saturday Bulgaria Team

Event Steering Committee consists of 6 members:

  • Dean Guida CEO at Infragistics
  • Jason Beres: VP of Product Management, Community and Evangelism @ Infragistics
  • Tihomir Ignatov – Senior SharePoint Consultant at Microsoft
  • Radi Atanassov – SharePoint Architect and GM at OneBit Softwate
  • Rossen Zhivkov – GM at Abilitics
  • Mihail Mateev – SharePoint Saturday Bulgaria Administrator

 

SharePoint Saturday Bulgaria Team includes  Volunteers from Infragistics and OneBit Software.

 

SharePoint Saturday Bulgaria Statistics:

  • 20 Sessions
  • 14 Speakers (including 2 MVPs, 3 SharePoint consultants from Microsoft and the most popular local speakers)
  • 1 Speaker with 1 sessions from Infragistics ( SharePoint and Business Intelligence for Mobile Devices,  Mihail Mateev) . This session was focused on SharePlus and ReportPlus products.
  • Nearly 110 attendees (probably nearly 120 with volunteers and booth guys)
  • 9 sponsors and 1 media partner
  • The SharePoint Saturday conference in Bulgaria and in the region
  • The most successful event for SharePoint specialists in the region
