    Yes, you can change the default MajorGridLines of the axis as follows:

    <igCA:XamChart.Axes>

                    <igCA:Axis AxisType="PrimaryX">

                        <igCA:Axis.MajorGridline>

                            <igCA:Mark  Stroke="Red" StrokeThickness="2"/>

                        </igCA:Axis.MajorGridline>
