The biggest news with this release for the .NET developer is App Builder and Blazor. If you are not familiar with App Builder, it’s arguably the most impactful software for you as a developer that we’ve shipped in a while. It’s a cloud-based WYSIWYG design to code solution that lets you create full apps with interactions, data binding and more … and then get Angular or Blazor code from your design! Check out this quick overview video here to get an idea of its capabilities:

With .NET 6 we are officially supporting a preview version of App Builder with Blazor as a code generation option, not just Angular. App Builder with Angular code generation has been in the market for a few months now, but the overwhelming feature requests were around Blazor support. If you have been hesitant to jump on the Blazor train because you aren’t comfortable with web layouts, CSS, etc … worry no more. With App Builder we handle 100% of this tedious, error-prone, manual coding with an amazing WYSIWYG drag & drop experience. Complete with themes, data binding, image assets, live preview, code copy, and more.
