Dear Sir or Madam,
I have made attempts (Resource Washing, restyle ...) to present the xamRibbon control in the style of Office 2013.
As a base I used the Metro theme.
Unfortunately, it was not very successful.
Therefore,I have two questions:
1) What is the best (or easiest) way to implement this?2) How can I change the background property (without resource Washing) by RibbonTabControl? Do you have an example for this?
thank you
Hello Marcus,
If you want a Office2013 to be created for a future version you can suggest new Product Ideas for future versions (or vote for existing ones) at http://ideas.infragistics.com.
Steps to create your idea:
The benefits of submitting the product idea yourself include:
- Direct communication with our product management team regarding your product idea.
- Notifications whenever new information regarding your idea becomes available.
Additional benefits of the Product Idea system include:
- Ability to vote on your favorite product ideas to let us know which ones are the most important to you. You will have ten votes for this and can change which ideas you are voting for at any time.
- Allow you to shape the future of our products by requesting new controls and products altogether.
- You and other developers can discuss existing product ideas with members of our Product Management team.
The product ideas site allows you to track the progress of your ideas at any time, see how many votes it got, read comments from other developers in the community, and see if someone from the product team has additional questions for you.
Thank you for contacting Infragistics.
Sorry that was a misunderstanding.
The pictures were from my example project.
I could not change the background color of RibbonTabControl
now it works...
You write "Currently we do not have Office2013 theme" .. is it planned?
Thank you
Thank you for your post. I have been looking into it. Currently we do not have Office2013 Theme. I have created a sample application and changed the default styles of the XamRibbon to look like the pictures you have attached.
I have used Snoop tool(http://snoopwpf.codeplex.com/) to find which components have to be changed and used the default styles of the XamRibbon.
The Default Styles you can find on the following directory: C:\Program Files\Infragistics\NetAdvantage 2013.1\WPF\DefaultStyles\Ribbon.
Please find the attached sample application and feel free to let me know if you have any further questions on this matter.
