Can't compile WPF-Application with trial version on another PC
posted

Hi,

I'm evaluating thje last NetAdvantage for WPF (Vol.3). After successfully compiling my example on the first PC I wanted to do it on another PC with the same trial version installed. I get a comp. error concerning LC.exe. Is it possible atl? If yes, what's the proper way to do it?

Thanks

/Efim

Sorry for the delay in the reply.  Unfortunately what you are trying to accomplish isn't possible with our assembly licensing.  If you installed a trial and created a project with that trial, that project can't be moved to another machine with a trial install and still work.  This it to avoid the case were someone would install the trial on a machine, develop on a project then once the trial expired move the project over to another machine with a new trial install an continue to develop.

The full licensed version would not have this issue.

Sorry I could not have been of more assistance.
