Graph ML Support for XAMDiagram
posted

Hi,

I would like to know do you have support for Displaying Graph ML Data for XamDiagram, I have Quickgraph object with vertices and edges, I would like to show that on XAMDiagram, I was thinkingi of converting the Quickgraphobject to Graph ML and feed it to xamdiagram, let me know if there is any tricks involved here.

    Hello Manoj,

    Thank you for your post!

I am personally not familiar with Graph ML or Quickgraphobjects, but from what I understand, it is an XML based file format for graph drawing. The XamDiagram currently does not have any support for reading a GraphML file directly, but you may be able to read your Graph ML file, create a view model from it, and then use that view model data to bind to your XamDiagram. You can read more about binding data to the XamDiagram in our online documentation here: http://help.infragistics.com/doc/WPF/2015.1/CLR4.0/?page=xamDiagram_Binding_to_Data.html.

If you would like to see direct support for Graph ML data possibly implemented in a future version of the XamDiagram, I would recommend suggesting a new product idea for it at http://ideas.infragistics.com. This site puts you in direct communication with our product management team who plans and prioritizes new features based on customer feedback. As a member of the Infragistics community, you can also vote on features and suggestions that you find interesting as well.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns on this matter.

    Sincerely,
    Andrew
