Hello,
Microsoft Excel 2013 is introducing the ability to save files in "strict xlsx" (ISO/IEC 29500 Strict) format, in addition to the "transitional xlsx" (ISO/IEC 29500 Transitional) format supported by earlier versions of Excel.
Has Infragistics NetAdvantage for Windows Forms' Infragistics.Excel component introduced support for reading xlsx files in ISO/IEC 29500 Strict format? If so, in what version was this introduced? If not, can you tell me where this is on your development roadmap?
Thanks and regards,

Hello ,
Currently our excel engine doesn’t support ISO/IEC 29500 Strict and this should be determine as a new product idea. I have consulted with our Development team and they said that it seems that supporting of ISO/IEC 29500 Strict will not cost a lot of efforts for them and they asked to log this in our internal system as a development issue. So in some of the upcoming service releases this should be supported. I have created a support ticket for you in order to be able to track your development issue easier. The id of the support ticket is CAS-106076-X1R0K9.
Thank you using Infragistics components.
I was wondering if there was any update on the time frame for this?
I understand that support for this was added back in March of this year (2013). So if you have v12.1 or higher, you probably just need to get the latest Service Release.
Great, Thanks.
