It was just found by our QA testers that the UltraTimeLineView is displaying all day events differently in version 2012.1. We were previously using 2010.3 and were upgrading to the latest version to utilize some of the new grid features. Is this something that was changed on purpose? If so is there a switch i can use to make it display the way it used to? I have confirmed it is due to the upgrade. We are using version 12.1.20121.2054. Any help would be greatly appreciated as our prod release is in 1 week. Thanks!
One thing to note is that it is possible in our system to not have times on our visits at a certain point. When this was the case we were setting the start time and end time of the appointment to 12:00am of the visit date, and setting AllDayEvent = true. It looks like by setting the endtime to a 11:59pm it shows the way it did before, i am just not sure if that will have any adverse affects on our application. So was it a something you all thought as a bug to display the way it did in 10.3? Thanks!
Ok, we went thru and changed the appointment ends times and all code that would affect it (hopefully!). Still curious on if this was a bug fix on your end at some point so i can tell our management and QA people. i am looking through release notes but dont see anything on UltraTimeLine fixes. Thanks.
Hi brianschaap,
After reviewing the changes between 10.3 and 12.1, I also do not see any mention of this behavior. If this behavior is only occurring after the upgrade it is likely related to a fix for some other issue with the UltraTimelineView or UltraCalendarInfo component.
I want to make sure that your workaround has proven effective and if you are able to provide a sample, as further context for your screen shot where this behavior is produced, I can certainly take a closer look.
