How do you have an UltraNumericEditor accept NULLS

I added an ultraNumericEditor onto my screen w/ a range of say 1 - 100.  Now I would like a person to be able to not enter anything into the control and be able to tab to next control w/out entering anything.

How do I allow tabbing through an UltraNumericEditor w/out entering anything
