Hi all,
I don't know if this is the right place to write this but since I cannot post to Service Release forum it seems to be the best place.
After detecting a bug with UltraTree beginning this week I got the hint in the UltraTree forum to install the latest SR which I did yesterday. This solved my problem with the UltraTree but now I've big troubles preventing me and my colleagues to continue our work. If we now load any of our UserControls in Visual Studio Designer it takes very long time 2-3 minutes until it has loaded, we see all controls in the view where normally only the BindingSource instances etc. are shown (don't know the name but see Screenshot attached).
We cannot select any Control in the Designer which makes it impossible for us to continue working.
Question 1: How can that be???Question 2: How can we solve it???Question 3: How can we uninstall a SR without the need of uninstalling entire NetAdvantage library. I found one post which seems not to be applicable for this SR???
Regards, Wolfgang
Hello Wolfgang,
I do not think that you need to uninstall the service release when you experience the issue like this.
When the Infragistics controls appeared in the System Tray this indicates that your Visual Studio is not able to find the designers of the controls. May be your project contains mixed references and you would have to clear the contents of your license.licx file first. If this doesn't help please make your that all of the Infragistics assemblies in the project are the same version. Also please make sure the all of the Infragistics assemblies are installed correctly in the GAC.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
