I use WinChart 7.2. In my project, i have to draw a lot of points and hightlight some of them. I want to stop the paint and set the points and hightlight, then resume paint to enhance the performance. I use WinGrid also, wingrid has BeginUpdate and EndUpdate to stop and resume drawing. Does winchart have the similar function?
Has anyone at Infragistics thought about adding this feature in a Hotfix? There seems to be a fair amount of questions on the performance of the charts with 1000s of points. It would be nice if we at least had a way to dump in 100 pts or so at a time and somehow throttle the updates back a bit, but as it is it seems to be causing a redraw on every addition to the chart.
