I want to do something like in explorer where you drag a little rectangle across the nodes you want to select. Is this possible? I have been using the UltraWinTree for a while but perhaps I have missed something.
Hi,
I'm not sure what you mean. I am not aware of any functionality in Windows Explorer where you can drag and select a rectangle that contains nodes. Can you explain exactly what you mean?
Here is an example. I am in Details view in explorer. As long as you don't select an actual node you can drag a rectangle around the objects and select multiple. http://installsolutions.net/Community/files/folders/42/download.aspx
Okay, the right-hand side in Windows Explorer isn't really a tree, it's more like a ListView. So you might want to try the UltraListView control - although I am not certain it has this functionality either. You might want to try posting over in the UltraListView forum to see if someone there knows for sure.
If it is is not currently supported, you you should Submit a feature request to Infragistics
