Hi!
I am trying to change the size (height) of a caption of an UltraWinDock Element with a creation filter. I am able to change it using PaneCaptionUIElement, but when I try to move down the rest of the element (I supposed that I could reach it, using the Offset method on PaneControlAreaUIElement), the caption element is also being moved. Am I looking in the wrong direction, or are there some limitations?
Hello Kirill,
I have been investigating into the behavior you are looking for, but I believe I will need a little more information from your end before I can really make a concrete recommendation on this matter. Would it be possible for you to please provide the IUIElementCreationFilter that you are currently using so I may see the code you are trying? If you have an isolated sample project where your creation filter is implemented, that may be even more helpful.
Would it also be possible for you to please provide a little more information on the exact behavior you are looking to achieve with the creation filter? You mentioned that you are looking to change the height of a caption – is this to say this is the actual position of the caption or just the font size of the caption of your UltraDockManager panes?
Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns on this matter.
Hi Andrew, what I am trying to do is to change the height of a caption area, this bar here, where "Navigation" is written:
Thanks a lot, Andrew, exactly what I was looking for!
Thank you for confirming the behavior you are looking for. I am attaching a sample project that demonstrates how to modify the pane header of the UltraDockManager using a CreationFilter.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns on this matter.
