Hi,
I have need to automate the application using UFT 12.53 and having infragistic of v13.1. Which version of Test Automation I need to download and from which site I can Download it.
Thanks.
Hi Ketki,
Your Infragistics version and Test Automation version should be the same. So if you are using Infragistics V13.1 then you need Test Automation V13.1. You can contact our sales at Sales@Infragistics.com to purchase a Test Automation key for V13.1. Once you register your Test Automation key you can find its download link in your “My Keys and Downloads” page when you login to your account at Infragistics.com.
Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.
Sincerely,Sahaja KokkalagaddaAssociate Software Developer
Hi Sahaja,
Thanks for your reply. I will consider your solution but before that can I install trial version of Test Automation and see if object are getting identified. If so then I will register for key.
Also, I want to know whether I need additional patches for UFT 12.53 with Test Automation to identify object. And how the Test automation works. Currently, my scripts shows as its clicking on co-ordinates
SwfWindow("Application").SwfWindow("Applicationform").SwfObject("0.0000ob12").Type "1.0"SwfWindow("Appkication").SwfWindow("Applicationform").SwfObject("0emo_job_2").Click 44,10
Please advise.
Thanks,
Ketki
I application is using infragistic win forms of v13.1. So can you please tell me if can I download "Download TestAdvantage for Windows Forms (for HP QuickTest Professional software) 2013 Volume 1". I have UFT 12.53.
Yes, you can download TestAdvantage for Windows Forms 2013 Vol1 if your application is using Infragistics WinForms 2013 Vol1. UFT 12.53 is the latest so you don’t need any additional patches for this. To read more about the supported IDE’s for Test Automation, refer to the below link.

Sahaja,
After investigating the assembly files in my AUT, I learned that it was developed with Infragistics4 v14.1. Installed for UFT, I have Infragistics windows Forms test Automation for UFT (2014.1), Infragistics TestAdvantage for WPF 2012.1, and Infragistics TestAdvantage for Windows Forms 2012.2. I have difficulty automating tasks that interact with objects like UltraWinGrid, and I cannot capture any recording for such objects. I believe that this is because of an incompatibility between the Infragistics used for development and that I have installed for my automation effort. Am I correct in this assumption, and if so where can I obtain the installation package for Infragistics TestAdvantage for Windows Forms 2014.1, if this is indeed the version of TestAdvantage compatible with the aforementioned Infragistics in development.
If any further explanation of this issue is required to assist, please ask.
Joseph Rajewski
Hi Joseph,
You’re assumption is correct. You should use Infragistics TestAdvantage for Windows Forms 2014.1. You can download it by clicking on the link below.

Thank you for your assistance with this issue! I can record actions on this UltraWinGrid now. However, I still am missing Infragistics TestAdvantage for Windows Forms 2014.1. I have come to this conclusion because such a program does not exist in the Add/Remove Programs menu, and there is no folder containing the assembly files for it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Infragistics, as there is for Test Automation for WinForms and TestAdvantage for WPF.
I raise this issue in spite of my success with UltraWinGrid because my automation effort requires the assemblies for other Infragistics objects, like UltraGauge, for example. Is there a separate installation package for TestAdvantage for WinForms, or should the assemblies I seek be embedded in what you have already provided me? If the latter is the case, then I should note that the Infragistics object assemblies I require are nonexistent post-installation.
