Currently we are migrating to RFT and our windows application is build on top of Infragistics win forms. When we are adding the objects to object map, most of the objects are captured under .netControlProxy.
When we try to record the applications, actions are recorded based on cordinates rather than object methods. Below are RFT tool and infragistics information.
RFT version-8.6.0.10
Infragistics Net advantage-16.2
Infragistics Test Advantage-20162(Trial version).
We followed most of the forum solutions but still not able to fix the issue.
Thanks In advance for the help.
Hi Selva,
Thanks for providing the information about your versions. It looks like you are using the same version of both Infragistics and Test Automation for IBM RFT.
Can you provide more information on which controls you are working with? Are any controls recording correctly, or does the issue affect all Infragistics components?
Please let me know.
Hi Mike,
Good Day!
Except Text box , buttons and form, other controls are recognized as .netcontrolproxy class. Even while recording, menu strip is not captured.
Please let me know if any more details needed from my side.
Thanks
I've opened CAS-186201-J9S6Q4 for you. You should get an update through email soon.
I will organize a contact for RFT and send you our contact info through the case.
We have raised a ticket with IBM RFT dev team regarding this issue and they need Infragistics contact to understand more on the issue for resolution. Can you please provide your contact details so that i can forward it to the RFT team to discuss further.
Kindly open a private case and i will share the details of files located in the customization folder.
Thanks,
Selva
